The Lip Mask You Need This Winter

Dry cracked lips are the worst, especially when your already freezing and trying to stay warm during the winter months. Let's be honest the struggle is more than real, it can be downright painful at times. For that reason I set out to find something that was better than just a basic chapstick, that I could put on my lips at night and not have to worry about it. Well, I found it! This lip mask is the legit real deal, I even have my husband using it despite the girly and beyond Instagrammable packaging.

Perusing through Sephora for my birthday I turned the corner from the fragrance department and entered into skincare. I love purchasing and trying new skincare, its actually a hobby that I take very seriously because I want my skin to remain healthy and young as long as possible. I always forgot about my lips when i was categorizing what is included in skincare and though facials and masks were just limited to my face. Boy I was wrong, taking care of your lips is just as important as taking care of your skin, just thing all your food has to pass through them to enter your body.

Upon entering the skincare department I was in awe of all the new gorgeous products and decided that I was going to get something skincare related for my birthday. Enter the Laneige section, the packaging was stunning and I had heard rave reviews about all their products. I really wanted to try the Lip Sleeping Mask and when I saw that it came in a gift set with a full size original and three minis you know I had to add it to my basket. I also picked up the Glow Recipe's Watermelon mask ( I haven't tried it yet, but when I do I'll let you know if I enjoy it as much as this lip mask).

The Laneige gift set came with a 0.70 ounce Grapefruit lip sleeping mask and then minis (0.10 ounces) in grapefruit, vanilla, and Apple Lime. My favorite is the grapefruit because of its amazing fresh citrusy smell. I love the thicker consistency of the product and how it remains on the lips for hours.

I had been struggle with cracking lips on the sides of my lips and peeling on them as well. After using this for two weeks every night, my lips are so much better! I have no more cracking in the corners and the the texture of my lips is becoming smoother and less flaky. I actually don't have any dry areas on them at all anymore. I'm so glad I picked this up and think it will be a forever addition to my skincare regimen.
