Recent Beauty Buys

I needed a couple beauty bits to replenish my collection, but I was also feeling a little spendy this week so this is the inevitable result. This is a combination of both Sephora and Walgreens hauls. I would love to do another post in the future letting you know what I thought of each product almost like a review post if your interested. What has been your favorite beauty buy lately? Because I'm nosey and I want to know!

1. Simple Face Cleansing Wipes
Surprisingly I haven't tried these before, and I have been on a mission to find the perfect face wipe that can take off eye makeup. I haven't had success yet so if these aren't it, I might just stick to my Garnier micellar water ( this stuff takes off makeup so quick and easy!).

2. Burts Bees Cleansing Oil
Within the same realm as makeup wipes, in a sense that both remove makeup, I had also never tried a cleansing oil before, and this one was affordable enough to give a whirl. I haven't tested it out yet, but I'm waiting for a day when I have a lot of mascara on to give it a try!

3. Olay Fresh Reset Clay Stick
I had seen some Instagramers posting pictures about these because they had received them in a press package, and the thought of a roll-on mask sounded and looked intriguing. Don't get me wrong, I question the cleanliness of stick makeup or skincare, but I will give this a try and let you guys know how I get along with it.

4. Herbivore Jade Roller
I spoke about this on my Instagram stories and have been using it for a couple days now. I got this in the Sephora VIB Rouge discount sale, and I'm so glad I did. I keep it in the refrigerator so that when I use it in the morning it wakes me up and at night as a nice way to allow my skincare to sink in. I haven't been using it long enough to speak to any benefits it may have for my skin, but I will share my results if I see any changes.

5. Caudalie Beauty Elixir
This is the only other item I got in the Sephora sale, and I've had it before. Unfortunately, I had a full bottle and I brought it to Mexico and broke it. I'm probably the most clumsy person you will ever meet, it wasn't even close to the edge of the counter...if you can tell I'm still a little salty about it! I just love this stuff so much and it has become a daily part of my skincare routine.

6. Revlon Kiss Plumping lip Creme
I picked these up because I heard a couple Youtubers rave about the formulation and how it seemed like a high end beauty product. I tried one out today and I have to say so dar I would agree. I got the shadesCashmere creme and nude honey and both are pinky nudes (my go-to, I'm so basic!).

7. Nyx lip pencil
The woman at Walgreens said that this was her favorite type of lip pencil and raved about how it lasted all day so you know I had to pick it up, and because its Nyx, it is super affordable. I got the pencil in the shade soft brown and wore it today with the revlon lip creme in the shade nude honey. The combo was gorgeous, and I will be wearing it a lot, it is the perfect pink nude combo!

8. Eco tools powder brush
In all honesty, I just needed a bigger powder brush and this one was the most attractive looking of the bunch. I haven't used it yet but the bristles feel nice and it was affordable, so I call it a win.

7. Essie gel polish
I have needed to paint my nails since getting back from vacation and the upon entering Walgreens, the Essie display was calling my name. I picked out a couple from the gel range including a kit with the top coat and the shade rock the runway, the shade daring damsel (gold), and the shade showroom for one (blue toned polish).

9. Soap and Glory Sugar crush body wash
I have wanted to try this body wash forever, and I don't know why I haven't. I love lime scented anything so I think I will really like using this!

10. Soap and Glory face masks
Walgreens was having a really great deal on Soap and Glory face masks, they were buy two, get one free, so of course I grabbed three, who do you think I am? I just grabbed one of each of the ones they had left, a pore refining mask, radiance booster, and moisture mask.

11. Revlon Eye Lash Curlers
My eye lashes literally go straight down into my eyes, does anyone else have this problem? Well I couldn't deal anymore so I picked up some lash curlers not only so my lashes would look great with mascara, but also because I was getting so ticked off that my lashes were in my eyes all day!

12. Number 7 Lash Impact Ultra Mascara
All the NO 7 mascaras were on sale, and the gold packaging gave me festive vibes so I added it to my collection. I figured I had used my Lancome mascara a little to much the past two months and decided to give another brand a try. I will let you know how I like it, and maybe I'll even do a mascara round up post comparing all the different ones I have tried (let me know in the comment below if that is something you would be interested in reading).
