My 5 Favorite Netflix Shows

I have recently found a whole new love and appreciation for Netflix and all the amazing shows it has on offer. Nothing is better than a rainy day on the weekend, a nice big bowl of popcorn, and a Netflix marathon while kicking your feet up and cuddling up. I have loved so many shows in the past and this list doesn't include all the ones I have seen, but these are the ones that I have watched recently for the first time or again for the second time.

1. Haven
If you love Syfy shows with mystery and lore, this is an awesome show to just get pulled into the plot. I'm watching this for the second time so that my husband can enjoy it as well. We are on the last season and he's hooked! The characters are so easy to get attached to, and the concept of "troubled" people with supernatural problems that effect the town is a unique and interesting concept. The story line is by Stephen King and it's so easy to get drawn in by the relationships and individual story lines.

This show has a reputation of its own and I'm now watching it again as an adult because the last time I watched it I was much younger and couldn't really appreciate and follow the story line. This is a great happy show to watch if your looking for something to make you laugh.

3.American Horror Story
If you know anything about me, you probably know that horror is my favorite genre. I love scary movies and shows that can leave me on the edge of my seat. I have really enjoyed watching American Horror Story and the new story lines that have come out each season. I recently watched the Roanoke season and actually got really into it and finished it so quickly. I tried watching it before a couple months ago and couldn't get into it but I gave it another try.

4. Haunting of Hill House
Like I said before I love horror shows and movies. We just started watching this one, so I can't say much about the entire story line, but the first 3 episodes have been so interesting and I have even jumped a couple times, I even got a couple friends hooked on it and they are on the 6th episode already!

5. Insatiable
This show was as entertaining as it was weird, but in a good way. It follows the lives of a mid-aged man and teenager in the beauty pageant space. The mischief and mayhem that ensues all the way to the last episode had me laughing but also cringing at the same time.
