June Beauty Favorites

June was a month of many new discoveries and a rekindling of an appreciation of older favorites. I have a well curated amount of beauty items that are great for everyday, and that I loved using this past month.
If you have been reading my other blog posts or following me on Instagram (@whosthemo) you'll know that this has been a favorite of mine forever. The It Cosmetics CC+ illumination cream in light makes my skin look like I just got a an amazing facial. After apply this to my skin, it looks so dewy and and the product gives a flawless finish. The shade is perfect for my skin and blends so well, I use a Sephora Pro Flawless airbrush number 56 to apply and the finished product is gorgeous.

So I have two new mascara favorites, and I know, I know... Having two mascaras in a monthly favorites post is a lot, but in all honesty I could not choose just one, they both are amazing in different ways.

The Dior Show Pump’N’Volume mascara in black pump is the best product I have tried for voluminous lashes since the Benefit They're Real mascara. If you like clumpier, voluminous lashes or want a dramatic lash look, this mascara is for you. Its so great because you can apply one layer for a everyday look or layer it up for more drama.

Benefit as a brand has such amazing mascaras and this next favorite is no exception. The Benefit Roller Lash is a perfect everyday mascara that gives a more subtle spidery lash look. I had seen a major amount of hype behind this product and decided to give it a go, and I am so glad that I did. This is an awesome no fuss everyday mascara that is perfect for minimal makeup days and regular makeup days alike.

My favorite blush right now is the Too Faced Love Flush in Baby Love. It's a perfect subtle shade with a beautiful consistency. It gives a natural tint to my cheeks as though I had just been out in the sun, and it's definitely one to pick up if you don't have it in your collection.

Dior Addict Lip Glow in Berry is a nice sheen perfect for hydrating the lips this summer. This is such a great grab and go product. Yes as it is Dior, it was a little bit more pricey than similar products, but the texture is worth it and it keeps my lips hydrated for hours.

Moving on to skincare/body products, my next favorite is the L'Occitane Huile de Douche Shower Oil with Almond Oil. This shower oil is hydrating with a light scent and after lathering turns into a cream-like texture. I was initially resistant to shell out the cash for a body wash that is $25 for 250 mL (that's a $1 per mL!), but I don't regret it. My skin has become so much softer and dewy, I was afraid that it would make my skin oily but it didn't at all. I use this on a luffa and get the luffa wet first and then it lathers up to a milky creamy texture, its amazing!

My next skincare favorite is one that I received after redeeming points at Sephora. After trying it once, I went onto the website and bought the full size! The Ole Henriksen Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub is an exfoliant with volcanic sand, green fusion complex, neem seed oil and AHAs. You probably just read that an said why do I care?

Well... Each ingredient works together to offer anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and exfoliant properties. The green fusion complex is a mix of botanicals that acts as an antiseptic, the neem seed oil offers anti-inflammatory and redness-reduction effects, and the AHAs, or alpha hydroxy acids, act as exfoliants reducing bumps and any unevenness in the skin. The smell of this face scrub is amazing, almost like a fresh menthe smell and the product actually warms up when rubbed on the skin, I am so obsessed. This is perfect for after the gym or a hot day at the beach in the shower, or if you need an invigorating wake up type scrub.

The start of summer has given me so much inspiration for so many more blog posts, so I am super excited to get back into the swing of posting multiple times a week. I hope you enjoyed my monthly favorites. What was your favorite beauty product in June?

Have a great day!
