Beauty Haul and Review

This past month has been a spendy one for beauty products for me. Whether it be from Sephora or Ulta, I have been on a makeup product kick lately and I thought I'd share my recent purchases with you. I have also had some time to try these products out so this is also going to be a review. All the products will be linked at the bottom of the post just in case you were interested in purchasing them or learning more.

I have always loved Benefit cosmetics as a brand, they always have such amazing products and these ones are no exception. Let me just tell you how amazing this Glamorista blush is! It gives such an amazing glow to the skin while still giving a gorgeous peachy pink tint to the skin. This is vastly becoming one of my favorite blushes of all time and I have reached for it so much these last couple of weeks. I was actually looking for a mascara that was not to heavy and more of an everyday spidery look rather than big voluminous lashes, and the Roller Lash mascara is perfect. I  can wear this everyday without worrying about it clumping, and it gives my lashes a natural look. Don't get me wrong you can definitely build it up to give a more voluminous look, but thats not what I bought it for. I wanted a mascara that would be a staple everyday product for me and boy does this check that box!
The packaging of the Boing concealer is so adorable, it sends off so many back-to-school vibes its insane. The packaging resembles an eraser and the merchandizing around it at Ulta looked very school inspired. Moving on from the packaging this is an awesome full coverage concealer that gets the job done on my less than flattering dark under eye circles. The Porefessional primer is literally a ride or die item, I've used this product forever. This is the newer matte rescue, and I have to say I'm loving it. I usually like a dewier complexion, however this looks great with any makeup look and makes my foundation or other product go on my face so smoothly.

If you follow me on Instagram (@whosthemo), then you'll know that I have been loving this oil-in-stick lipstick from YSL. I have had this in my purse since I've purchased it and i can't put it down! The formula is almost like a lip balm its so hydrating and gives a pretty and light flush of color to the lips. The shade shown is rose rive gauche and its a gorgeous rose peach color. The next YSL item I kind of picked up as a mistake because I thought it was a touch éclat but in reality it was a Touche éclat glow shot (shade 2 sunrise). Im glad I did get this because it is a gorgeous liquid highlighter in a rose gold type color and reflects light so beautifully! And of course I had to pick up an actual Touche éclat (shade 1), I had heard so much hype surrounding this product, and I have wanted to try this for so long but I didn't want to commit until I tried it out in person. Once I tried it I was hooked. This does such a great job at brightening my under eyes and makes me look like I actually got a much needed 8 hours of sleep the night before.

The next product I bought was from the brand Tarte and it is the lid lock eye base. I wanted something that would give my lids a solid base to put my eye shadow on top of. This product is great and it actually hides some of the veins in my upper eyelids if I want to do a more subtle eye shadow look.

This active micellar cleansing water from Garnier is literally the best micellar water I have used yet far, I actually like it better than my Sephora one! There is no harsh scent and it works wonders at taking all my makeup off and doesn't sting my eyes when I take off my eye makeup. I had tried Sephora cleansing wipes before so I knew these would be just as good as the ones I had tried in the past, the only difference is they have a slight rose scent to them. The last item I purchase was a slip silk pillow case in a charcoal grey color. I have never tried anything other than a cotton pillow case before but I had heard a lot about the benefits of switching to a silk pillow case for both skin and hair. I have only used this for a couple nights so I can't speak to any hair or skin benefits but it is so comfortable, way more than my basic cotton pillow case. I'll keep you updated if I see any differences in my hair and skin.

What is one of your favorite new products right now?
I hope you have a great day!
